  • Love the margaritas and guacamole best of all.
  • Some years ago the way the beef on the fajitas was cooked has changed.

“I've been eating at Joe's since 1962 and while a couple of the recipes have changed over the years it is Mexican food, not Tex-Mex as some people expect. If you want Tex-Mex go to on the border, if you want Mexican (slightly bland) food, Joe's is the place. The guacamole is the best I've found anywhere. The margaritas are fantastic. Yankees should be limited to one. The nachos are cheesy and great. For a fun place to eat at a reasonable to inexpensive price, Joe's is the place no matter whether you sit inside or in the garden. My kids were raised on Joe's.”

  • The fun, casual atmosphere was perfect for our celebration.
  • Not a thing in my book.

“After my grand daughter's marriage at the old historic courthouse downtown Fort Worth, our party of 20 celebrated at Joe T. Garcia's restaurant. It was WONDERFUL. The atmosphere was fun, festive and colorful; the patios were beautiful; the food was delicious and plentiful; the wait staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was a delightful experience for our very special occasion.”
