- Very well trained staff (even with other difficult guests).
- Very quiet to begin with (maybe we were too early @ 10am).
“After being on holiday for 4 weeks in other parts of the USA, we went searching for good food. The food at Monteleone was good but out meal at Brennan's was superb. Our children even said that it was the most memorable meal The staff were patient with my teenagers explaining the different food options - courteous with a wonderful sense of humor. We could have spent all morning/afternoon there if we had gone with the wine pairings. Banana's Foster was quite an experience!”

- Fast, convenient location, great atmosphere, friendly staff, great drinks, great food, lots of fun!
- One thing I didn't care for so much is the noise, it's a very busy restaurant and it is very loud.
“I love Nola, it's one of the best restaurants I have ever been to!”

- Gumbo, bacon wrapped oysters.
- Speckled trout, the waiter's rapport.
“The serving staff needs lessons in hospitality. The bacon wrapped oysters and the seafood gumbo were satisfactory. The Speckled Trout Clemenceau was old, tasting and smelling extremely fishy. The Duck Breast A L'Orange and the sweet potato puree tasted as if being prepared days ahead and reheated. The bread pudding lacked the soft texture, even the whiskey sauce could not save it.”

Hoshun

from San Francisco
Overall Rating: 10

Atmosphere:[10]
- Chef is down to earth and knows what he's doing!
- Throw away wooden chopsticks.
“Presentation of dishes is beautiful, creative and appetizing. Excellent mix of spices and seasonings that enhance the food rather than mask it. The Seafood Martini is a great example of this. The menu is a well thought out offering of Asian cuisine that complements each style; one can order Japanese, Chinese and Thai all in the same meal and not feel as if the enters fight each other. This is a San Francisco or New York worthy restaurant that is not the typical NOLA establishment; there's nothing blackened, fried or cajun about Hoshun. The servers are knowledgeable and very service oriented.”

- It looks pretty.
- The from the house is busted.
“This restaurant is shamelessly cashing in on Emeril's hype while delivering mediocre food and terrible service.”
