“This was our first trip to Boston. The hotel was expensive, but cheaper than comparable hotels in the area. The hotel was quaint and beautiful. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean and well styled. You couldn't ask for a better location. The wharf and North End are two blocks away. It was great having Quincy's market across the street. We really enjoyed the street performers, restaurants, and shops. This is a great place to stay to see Boston.”

“I was very happy with my short stay at the Millennium Boston for business. The location was perfect and allowed me to walk to my meetings and then pick up something to eat at Quincy Market on my way back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was good-sized. I had read complaints about the bathrooms, but the bathroom in my room had both a shower and separate bathtub. would definitely stay here again.”

“ A lovely hotel in an ideal location for touring Boston and getting in and out of the airport. Staff was great. Room was clean and well appointed - lovely soft goods! I had a room facing the street and Fanuel Hall - beautiful view - but on the second floor the street noise started at 4 am with trucks loading and unloading. And with floor to ceiling, thin windows, I heard every squeak of the brakes! Then come the tourists. On the weekends, there's a farmers market below and at night, lots of bar traffic. Be prepared to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I tried to turn in early (as the night noise wasn't quite as bad as the morning noise). I also used a white noise generating application on my cell phone. I would stay again though! ”

“Overall very pleased since we weren't in the room much and the lack of view wasn't an issue. I was staying with a friend. Although they didn't charge us extra.”

“The hotel is very near historic Fanueil Hall and the Freedom Trail. There are hundreds of shops and restaurants is easy walking distance. The Hotel is first class, spotless clean with a very attentive staff. We did not eat there due to the proximity of other restaurants. We drove because Boston was a stop over place for a vacation on the Cape. Parking was very limited and very expensive. If possible it would have been better to get there with mass transit.”

“The friendly service from the desk to the hotel restaurant is amazing. Very friendly! The hotel is very clean and has a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Nice little free touches (hot apple cider, oranges, apples). It was a great place to stay.”

“Fabulous central location directly across from Faneuil Market, and walking distance from lots of historical sites. However, I did not especially enjoy looking out our window at all the trash produced by the open produce market directly below us. On a positive note, we also had views of the Boston suspension bridge in the distance. I also appreciated the internet access. I'm sure after the renovations; this hotel will be majorly improved. It is undergoing growing pains. I would have liked to either be warned about this or else see some monetary compensation.”

“My teenage son and 8 year old daughter and I stayed three nights and had wonderful time. Our corner room was large enough to accommodate a large, comfy cot in addition to the king bed and had windows on two sides overlooking Faneuil Hall. One set of windows were French doors that opened on to a small balcony. The rooms are very recently renovated and felt brand new. The lobby and common areas are under major construction so are not attractive, but this did not matter to us. The large beautifully tiled bathroom had a glassed in shower that was a dream. The only two things missing that we love to have were an indoor pool, and a free breakfast buffet. The location, near Faneuil Hall and the North End (little Italy), the Aquarium, and Government Center "T" stop was super convenient.”

“When the hotel will be fully renovated it will be fantastic. The new rooms were very tastefully decorated - including the ultramodern bathroom. Would definitely return to the hotel, not only because of its physical attributes, but the location. It is in the centre of Boston and within walking distance of most of the cities attractions.”

“Hotel was in a great location close to Quincy Market, North End, Freedom Trail and public transportation (subway). Currently doing major renovations to the lobby and half the rooms although this did not present any problems.”

“This hotel was great. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. I was checking out and realized that they had half the hotel under construction and didn't even realize it. They are doing a good job of this construction.”

“I was a little disappointed in the layout of the room. I was again disappointed when I saw that one of the end stands was chipped. Also, looking at the bathroom. I could see the paint job was done in a hurry. I could see all sorts of paint drips on the floor. Finally, the bed seemed a bit small for a queen. I was not truly impressed with the hotel, just disappointed.”

“Location too many attractions were great, as we didn't plan on spending much time in the room. Would have preferred a room with a nicer view, but for the limited time spent in the room, it was ok. This is not a family hotel as rooms are very small. Hotel was in the midst of cosmetic updates which were greatly needed. Staff was very attentive, although the bell captain could have been a bit friendlier upon our arrival as we came in the wrong way in the round about non-directional entry.”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was warm friendly and helpful. The hotel met or exceeded all of my expectations with the exception of the picture in the hotel's website. The website showed a suite for a standard room. A bit deceiving.”
