“I would stay here again. It was a convenient location with nice amenities. We paid for an upgrade to executive level with internet and breakfast. We were pleased with the property.”

“It's a modern hotel with pretty big rooms. Smoking is allowed in the hotel. However smoke-free rooms are available for the guests and smoke-free areas are in the restaurant. We had breakfast included. All kind of foods were present, well cooked and delicious.”

“Although the lobby and other public areas of this hotel were well-appointed, our room was downright shabby. The furniture seemed to have been purchased from a Goodwill store, the wallpaper was stained, and doors showed signs of abuse. The buffet breakfast, on the other hand, was quite nice. Free but unsecured wifi was available in the lobby.”

“This hotel is only a few stops away from Old Town Prague and therefore a good value, if you have about 30 extra minutes of travel time (total per day) to go back and forth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, free breakfast, and was quiet. Downside - the staff was very curt - not exactly unfriendly, but certainly didn't reach out to be helpful. I wouldn't call the room luxurious, but it was better than many hotels in which I have stayed in Europe.”

“A good hotel for a visit to Prague although 4 stops on the underground to Wenceslas Square then change of lines for 2 stops to the old town. Parking was over 15 pounds which seemed very high for a hotel in the suburbs.”

“It was our second time staying in this hotel in Prague and the hotel overall was very good. Maybe because they had so many group travelers, some staff was very rude and not talking to me until I had to approach several times. Extra fees for the swimming pool access are not attractive and the floors and other equipments in the rooms may need to be updated.”

“This hotel treated it's customers different. We could not use the pool and we were down graded as far as the free breakfast. We felt like 2nd grade citizens. Also the water kept going from cold to hot in the shower. It was hard to give my daughter a bath because it would change so often and almost burned her. The location is the worst. nothing around it. A very lonely place while visiting Prague. Lots of construction around and too far away from anything interesting. Terrible location!”

“The parking is expensive 20Euros and the area isn't the best. The rooms were just so tired and depressing. It really felt like I was some communist delegate on a business trip circa 1974. It's not the worst experience by far in my life but wouldn't stay there if I had a choice. It was easy to access downtown.”

“Some of the hotel staff was extremely helpful, while others were not at all. The extras of the hotel (such as the gym, internet, restaurants) were expensive when compared to other hotels in Europe. The room seemed to be a little dirty (hair in the bathroom) and the room had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. We tried airing it out but the window only opens about 3 inches.”

“For the executive room wise is brilliant for us. Not much view there. It is out of the city centre but not far walking distance from the underground to the hotel is about 5-10 mins walk. Take C line which is the red line from main train station to the hotel.”

“Our room on the 14th floor was OK, certainly not worth a 4-star rating. Many things were much over priced, such as internet connection, telephones, water in the room. The breakfast room was crowded with busloads of tourists. The quality of the staff was very good.”

“Overall, very nice experience. Staff was helpful and friendly and room was very comfortable. Only downside is distance from city center, but still worthwhile.”

“We were given a complimentary upgrade to a business class room when we did an early check in. Everything was quite lovely and conveniently located and we had no problems, only positive experiences while there.”

“Location isn't pleasant; my view was of a building site. Real pain the fact you have to get the tube 4 stops to get to the perimeter of the city centre. Prices for anything additional were a extortionate, more than 10 for a movie in your room, hotel transfer was more than 25 from the hotel. Hotel looks like it might have been to a nice standard many years ago but it looks like it really could do with a lot of modernization. Bed was also uncomfortably soft, TV buzzed loudly when switched on and air con was so noisy I switched it off and endured the heat of the room.”

“I thought I'd stepped aboard the Poseidon stepping into this hotel, and don't get me wrong, I mean the 1970s version not the modern remake. The hotel has been fairly well maintained but even if my mums house had been maintained without any changes since the 1970s. I still wouldn't really want to have to pay to stay there. Location is grim, albeit underground was only short walk through a building site to get to, which was the nicer view which I got as opposed to the communist council estate the other side. In addition prices were extortionate, about 13 to watch a movie in your room, if I did my conversion sums right and almost 30 for an airport transfer. As for the music playing in the hallways and the lifts all they served to do was give the hotel more of a feeling of the shining, could almost hear red rum being chanted down the hallways. Hotel though clean just felt like it had an aged brown tinge to it.”

“When I choose east I didn't expect it to take us out of the city center. Perhaps name the neighbor hoods. It was nice that it was by the metro station. The rooms were dingy, smelled like cigarette smoke & out dated. The beds were old an lumpy. The pillows were impossible to get comfortable with. The shower is so high off the floor making it difficult when stepping out. The heat was on too hot & there was no option to turn it down or turn a fan on so we slept with the window open. I paid $25 for an 8 min call to the US & only $2 at a Internet Cafe. Beers were $8 compared to $1-2 in the city center. I am not usually a complainer but nothing about this hotel made me feel good.”

“Nice enough and the hotel was clean, good size breakfast included. Rooms were large enough for a roll away bed for our family of 5, but no connecting room. Staff was not overly friendly except the doorman and it was 1/2 hour ride on the Metro from the City Centre.”

“This hotel has absolutely no business being rated 4 stars. The bed linens are many, many years old. They are frayed and need replacing. I am not sure when they were cleaned last, but it has been some time. The rooms had a pungent odor about them. I plan to return to Prague; I will never stay at this hotel.”
