• Nice outside pool area. Complimentary coffee. In room fridge. Nice little balcony.
• Hallways could have been cleaner. Big mustard stain on carpet outside room and something like blood on drapes. Poor shower pressure.

“For my business needs, the hotel was a very good value. I think the rooms were spacious and it was nice to have the small balcony. The rooms had a fridge which I don't believe was mentioned on Price line. I do think the carpet in the hallways and the room could be better vacuumed, but other than that, the rooms were clean. The shower pressure was weaker than I would have liked. I did ask for the shower head to be cleaned to help with this problem. Unfortunately the shower pressure remained the same. Nice, friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and close to shopping and restaurants.

“ This hotel was great and I would love to stay there in the future. It was very close to a shopping area and good restaurants and not far from the Hollywood Hard Rock Casino and Nova Southeastern University. There is a very nice outlet mall less than 15 minutes away. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had both a coffeemaker and a small refrigerator (in a cabinet under the TV.) I didn't use it, but was told there was a shuttle available to go to the airport or the cruise port (about 15 minutes away if you don't go during rush hour.) The staff was friendly and accommodating with special requests, such as late check-out. ”

• Good room, very clean public area, great quality coffee available 24/7.
• Driving to this location can be a real pain depending on which direction you are traveling, even my GPS couldn't find it sometimes.

• Off the beach, but close to everything via highway.

  did not feel like this was a 3 star hotel.

“The checkout clerk seemed new and took an unreasonably long time (35 minutes)checking us out when we had a 7am flight to catch after rental return.
This "Marriott" is just like a Days inn. There was often large groups of young cuban children hoarding the computers. Pool is small, but usable, no great landscape/view. It was close to highways and basically met our needs, no "wow" factor.”

• From the time I walked into the hotel it gave me a sense of being at home with an upscale atmosphere.

“ We felt at home at this hotel. The lobby was great for visiting with others from out of town. We did not have breakfast there, but it was set up to be very user friendly. The pool area and exercise room were very nice. This was one of the best exercise rooms I've seen at a hotel. The pool area was very relaxing with a garden that surrounded it and very well maintained. The room was large, very relaxing and nicely done. ”

• Hotel is clean and in a decent area. The staff is friendly as well.
• Definitely not a 3.5 star hotel. This place needs renovations and updates.

“This is a very average hotel. It needs to be renovated both on the exterior and interior looks to be comparable to other Courtyards.”

• Location was perfect for my needs close to shopping, restaurants, etc.
• On a couple of days, trash was missed or the ice bucket was left with water and empty bottles in it.

• Close to Nova Southeastern University.
• No complimentary breakfast. Construction. Very hard to find.

“This hotel is actually substantially fine. The only thing I disliked is the fact that they did not offer complimentary breakfast! Only the coffee and tea is free. The other major complaint of mine is that the hotel is very hard to find, which can be easily corrected by putting a sign on the closest main road (University Dr.). The names of the some of the other hotels nearby appear on the main sign of the plaza except this hotel's! Other than that, it's very clean and the staff seems professional and courteous.”

• Very kind staff. Very attentive and courteous.
• Bathroom could use more cleaning.

“The location (Plantation FL) very convenient to all things in Fort Lauderdale area, including airport. It is right behind the Broward Mall and lots of restaurants right there. Some construction behind hotel. Our goal was to find a place to sleep. We did not need resort or high service place. Excellent for those who day-trip around South Florida!”
