  • Well laid-out format.
  • Placed a bit out of the way from inner harbor.

Fort McHenry National Monument
Aug 29, 2008 by Graham from Baltimore
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • A sense of pride in our American past.
  • None.

“The person/teacher from NJ should stay in NJ. Places like Ft. McHenry should be looked as to what they are, places were brave men fought for the rights of all Americans, it's not Disneyland. No not everything is a touch and feels good experience. There is some reverence to the place. If she had wanted someplace for the kids to interact then she should have taken them to someplace like the Md. Science Center. Battlefields and Forts should be viewed as what they are, place where men fought and died for our country.”

Fort McHenry National Monument
May 21, 2007 by Catherine from Glen Rock, nj
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3

  • Amazing view and landscape.
  • From my observations little kids are not welcome!

“Horrible, I recently went on a class trip to the fort, where I quickly found out it was an unnecessary stop. As soon as we got in there one child in my grade sat down on the grass, not knowing this was like coming treason in broad daylight. As soon as we walked in to the tight brick archway, we were thrown right back out. If you do go to the fort be sure not to eat, breath, or touch anything while there. Although in my opinion getting kicked out was an amazing gift from god, the view from the top was quite beautiful. ”

Baltimore Inner Harbor
May 21, 2007 by cathy from ridgewood, nj
Overall Rating: 6 User Rating Score: 6

  • Unhelpful staff and slightly boring exhibits.

“The layout of the place was interesting and interactive, but the exhibits were not all they were made up to me. I would not recommend it on a busy day because of overcrowding. The dolphin show was not only exiting, but surprisingly educational. My only criticism of the show would be its short length. The one major draw back for me was that one of the cashiers in the store Stoll my digital camera. I would hesitantly recommend it just keep all belongings in your sight at all times!”
